Ring sizes vary from country to country. And it's hard to nail down a true average finger size. But for general purposes, the average ring size for women is between 5 and 7. For men, it's between 9 and 10.

How to Measure for Ring Size？

Normally we use a scale of numbers that convert to the circumference of your finger in millimeters. That means a ring size 5 fits a finger with an inside circumference of about 49 millimeters, and a ring inside diameter of about 15.7 millimeters. Wrap a piece of string, floss, thread, around the base of your finger, marking where it first overlaps. Unroll and lay it next to a ruler and note the length in millimeters.
